Absolutely dodgy! They must have snagged my number from some dodgy website. Their lack of customer service was astounding, and they were as helpful as a chocolate teapot! All they spouted was a load of nonsense about some firm and insurance I’ve never even laid eyes on. Avoid like the plague!

I didnt pick up but rang straight back, they said they were looking for a David Smith regarding Life insurance. When I told them David Smith isnt here they asked who I was so I said Joe Bloggs. And surprise surprise, they said they must have made a mistake and actually needed to talk to Joe Bloggs !!!!!!!

I just leave it like that, it’s kinda amusing and wastes their time. Sometimes I just ignore the calls, but it’s funny listening to them shout “hello, are you there?”

for me, if they dont bother leaving a voicemail then i just basically ignore it. i never answer numbers i don’t know and google them instead. if it was something urgent they’d leave a message. from what ive seen they usually ask 2 things: who your energy provider is and if you’ve had any recent accidents. both sound dodgy to me, they’re trying to get you to confirm your details for scams.
