He also mentioned it was only his second day at the job - yeah, right. When I explained my complaint, he kept suggesting I sounded flustered, but honestly, I was quite entertained by now. Then he started lecturing me on how customer service should be done. I told him, truthfully, that I actually manage a customer service department myself, and his reaction was just ‘oh here we go’, which made me chuckle. He rambled a bit more, then said he was doing me a massive favour by signing me up to some call blocking service where I could claim up to £20,000 if I got another cold call - I couldn’t help but laugh at how generous that sounded. Feeling like I’d had enough fun, I said a cheerful goodbye. Honestly, don’t waste your time with these folks.
