I just received a call from that number regarding Life Insurance or some other Policy, although they were uncertain of the details. I am extremely angry about their attitude, not to mention how they obtained my number. The caller abruptly ended the call when I expressed my outrage over their behavior and the comment they made: "Well, in that case, Sir, I will have to trust your word that you don't have a policy."

I highly doubt they recorded that conversation.

The recipient quickly interjects and says, "Hold on! You are interrupting me by utilizing a database obtained from a questionable source of such information." The claim chaser disputes the accusation of "cold calling" since the recipient's details are registered in their database. The conversation appears to be heading nowhere and the call quality is subpar due to background noise in the call centre. Nevertheless, the claim chaser remains polite, leading the recipient to believe they will now move on and find someone else to potentially make a fraudulent whiplash claim.

Got a call from some bloke with a confident British accent, saying my info's on their list for car accident claims. I told him straight up, "Listen mate, don’t bother. You’re cold calling me off a dodgy list you’ve bought from some shady data collector." He argued that it’s not cold calling since I’m in their system. We went round in circles, sounded like a script from one of those packed call centres. He stayed polite though, so I reckon he’ll just pass me off to another agent to try and flog a fake whiplash claim.

I received several missed calls from a particular number, and decided to use the old 141 trick to call them back. To my surprise, I encountered a recorded message from a company known as "Action Claim Direct" or something similar. Curiosity led me to their website, which I must admit, was quite poorly designed. On the website, I managed to find the contact details of a solicitor named Kevin, who works for this company. Although I haven't dialed his number yet, I believe it is time for some inquiry and perhaps even some form of retribution. Let's all come together and get involved in this matter! :)

I reckon these folks might be ringing you from a standard landline - the very one that’s been flagged. Then, rather annoyingly, they might follow up with a withheld number, blaring some automated spiel about PPI or similar nonsense. I’d strongly advise against picking up calls from anyone cloaked in secrecy. It’s even more suspect when they call from a landline and hang up abruptly. They're merely keeping track of your number as if it's still in play...

What an absolute disgrace! It's bordering on harassment, if you ask me. I haven't had any mishaps, I'm not interested in PPI, and I certainly don't welcome these intrusive calls. Is there any way to put an end to this nonsense?

Received a phone call from some cold caller who asked for me using my old surname. I've been married for almost 4 years now. Blocked the number straight away.
