2 yearsKeeps ringing me but I have no idea who it is, so I just ignore it.2 yearsThey rang saying my council house needed a new roof, which is a joke cos I live in a tent! Complete scam, don’t fall for it.2 yearsGot calls every day from someone claiming to be from a housing firm, which I think is a scam. No idea where they got my number from either.2 yearsThe phone lines are meant to operate from half past nine in the morning until half five in the evening, yet somehow, they decide to ring you up at seven in the evening. It’s typically a foreign-sounding individual on the other end, peddling loans that conveniently require your bank details. It’s nothing short of a scam, pure and simple! It’s utterly baffling why citizens in the UK find themselves having to repeatedly authenticate their identities in their own homeland, all because of shady characters like this who are intent on swindling and impersonating others for a quick buck.UK2 yearsSo this number rang me after I’d put in some loan applications online, saying they were from a loan firm. I wasn’t too sure about it and ended the call, but they rang straight back again. I told them I didn’t believe they were genuine and asked them not to ring me again, then ended it once more. Their English sounded really dodgy, so it’s obvious they’re not a proper UK loan company. Honestly, I’d tell anyone not to share any info with these lot.2 yearsThis number keeps ringing me up. It’s from Brightlife Cover, I believe.Brightlife2 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were from the ‘Housing Repair Team’ asking if I was satisfied with the condition of my council flat. I said no, then told them they weren’t my council (didn't give a name). They suddenly got quite rude, threatening to have someone else ring me back. I told them to basically 'buzz off' and they just hung up. Turns out it’s a dodgy insurance scam promising to get the council to sort repairs, even if you never reported anything. They charge you a fee for every little fix apparently. Best thing is just to ignore and hang up straight away.Housing Repair Team2 yearsService helpline2 yearsGot a call from a woman saying she was from some council housing repair place. Didn’t even bother since it wasnt something I’m involved with, so I just told her no cheers.3 yearsI got a call from some firm, I think it was called Tele 2 or a name like that.Tele 2Submit Your Own Report (0161 814 9194)
