I received a call regarding a possible refund for PPI. Naturally, I inquired how they had obtained my number, only to hear it was from an automated dialler. I promptly told her to stop bothering me and to refrain from calling me again. I’ve decided on a new tactic - I’m going to invest in a rather obnoxious referee whistle, and the next time I get one of these nuisance calls, I'll blast it down the line!

They were quite courteous, and as soon as I mentioned it wasn’t something I was interested in, they promptly ended the conversation.
