I recently received a rather intriguing call regarding solar panel installation, boasting a tempting discount for ten residences in my locale. However, when I inquired about the specific area they were referring to, they drew a blank; apparently, their so-called senior advisor would be in touch later. “I’m merely coordinating the calls,” the caller said. I swiftly decided to decline the conversation and ended the call. It’s peculiar; the number had a Manchester area code, yet the person on the other end didn’t seem to be from around here at all.

Fraudsters, without a doubt! They called, masquerading as some insurance firm inquiring about 'a recent crash.' Now, our car was indeed in the shop, but how they connected the dots remains a mystery. The game was up for them as we’d never been in an accident. Their tone turned quite aggressive when they realised we weren't biting. Oddly, the number popped up with a local area code, yet the rest of it was completely out of sync with what you'd expect. Do yourself a favour-block this number and hang up immediately!

This number has been pestering me multiple times throughout the day. When I pick up, there's just silence on the other end, although I can make out some background sounds. I've now started to let it ring and just hold on until they hang up. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!
