Got a call from this 0161 814 8606 number, some Indian woman chatting about solar panels. Not interested at all, so i just blocked em. I really don’t answer calls from strangers like that.

My home phone buzzed and this woman said she was from "BT Internet". She claimed there was some kind of "fraud" happening with my internet. Had some free time, so I said cheers for the heads up and asked her what steps I needed to take next. Then suddenly she just hung up on me!

So this guy rang me claiming he was from BT Openreach, saying my IP had switched from private to public or something. He offered to fix it for me, trying to be all helpful and that.
