This is quite worrying as I'm also here in Florida on holiday. How do they even know we're away from home? Makes you think if somehow they managed to put some kind of spyware on our phones. I've been getting tons of calls recently even back in the UK, all about some accident I apparently caused. They mostly ring from mobile numbers and I'm forever putting them on block.

Got a call from a guy named Ryan, said he was calling from Liverpool and gave me a Manchester number. He claimed I’m owed £3500 for a car accident that supposedly happened on my road when I was barely moving. Sounds fishy to me, definitely not falling for it. I’m going to report this number to the police.

Blimey, these lot are proper relentless! They've been ringing my mobile almost every day for the last three weeks. Lots of different numbers all tied to that call centre in Manchester. Most start with 0161 814 like 2585, 8630, 8481, 2967, 2097, 2441, 4200, 2448, 2168 - just to name some! They keep saying I've had a small accident in my car within the last 3 years and somewhere within 200 miles from my house! When I asked for more details, they just dropped the call! I've blocked all those numbers but I’m sure they’ll try again with new ones. Proper nuisance!

I mean, it’s quite simple-no car means no accident! I can’t help but wonder what part of that concept was confusing for her.

Awful experience. They kept ringing non-stop with zero respect on the phone. Came across like scammers or something?
