Received a call marked as International. There was a cacophony of chatter in the background before they disconnected.

I’ve just received a call from the same number.

I received a call from this number regarding a car accident, even though it had absolutely nothing to do with my pension. Despite my clear denial of ever being in an accident, they insisted otherwise and just wouldn’t let it go. I ended up having to hang up on them. It really feels like a scam to me. No legitimate company would react that way and keep claiming that I'd been in an accident when it's simply not true. Quite alarming, if I'm honest.

It's rather frustrating, isn't it? Honestly, I wish the government would take some initiative to deal with these pesky nuisances!

I picked up the phone, but there was nothing but dead air on the other end before they promptly disconnected!

Received a call on my landline around seven o'clock on the 21st of February, 2017. The gentleman on the other end seemed to have my first name and claimed to be representing Pension Advice, saying I qualified for a complimentary evaluation of my private pension due to some recent government legislation. When I told him to "do one," he chuckled as if he was amused, asking if I didn’t want to know how my pension was performing. I usually rely on my caller ID and rejection options to filter out unwanted calls; however, my wife answered the phone first and then handed it over to me. Clearly, it was a dodgy scheme, and it’s high time the appropriate authorities took measures to put an end to such irritating calls.

Today, my husband received a call from a woman named Natasha. When I pressed her for details, she claimed to be with the Pensions Helpline, a title that certainly gives off a sense of being from some official government body. During the conversation, she quizzed my husband on whether he had any pensions, and when he replied in the negative, she promptly disconnected the call. It seems quite clear she's fishing for pension transfer leads. I should also mention that we're listed with the Telephone Preference Service, so she really ought to refrain from contacting us in the first place!

This number just won’t stop ringing, and as you mentioned, they don't allow for a return call. I've made it clear that I’m not interested - I’ve even told them to stop! Yet, they’re relentless and continue to bombard me with calls. I've opted to let them go straight to voicemail now.

I've been bombarded relentlessly by these individuals claiming to represent the Pension Helpline. Each time I request them to take my number off their list, it seems to fall on deaf ears. They just carry on calling without a care in the world!

Pension folks are a complete letdown; utterly pointless!

I got a call earlier today. Just as I was advised, I kept silent, and lo and behold, the line went dead. I then dialled 1471, only to discover that when I tried calling them back, a pre-recorded message informed me that the number isn’t valid. Honestly, it’s frustrating when you’re waiting for significant calls, and this sort of nonsense happens. I can’t help but wonder how long it’ll take before the authorities take some action over this?

Calls come in from around 6 to 7 in the evening, Monday to Friday, but they just cut off as soon as I pick up.
