Got calls from them loads last week, finally picked up today and they said the Ministry of Justice is giving compensation to anyone who's been on an all inclusive holiday!! I told them I had no idea what scam they were on about, plus I never booked any holiday with my name or phone number.

Got a call about some all-in holiday deal, wanted my email to send info. I told them I wasn’t interested. Always remember, if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

Got an email about these guys. Miller And Stone apparently work with ATOL protected tour operators across the UK. They say they’ve got a list of over 10,000 hotels and resorts that have failed food hygiene or had injury issues at some point in the last three years. Because of this, there’s apparently refunds available for people who stayed at those places. They want your booking confirmation though, which should be in your email or on paper if you booked in store, to help you get the refund. Tried looking up the company in Liverpool but couldn’t find anything linked to them.

So, got a call today from someone claiming to be the ‘director’, named Alexander Tofton, saying he’s from some company called Amplify Solutions. He told me I’m owed over £2000 compensation for being unwell on an all inclusive holiday. He couldn’t say who my holiday provider was though and kept asking for my holiday reference number. Weird thing is, he already had my full name and mobile but still asked for my address, which I gave him. Said he’ll ring back tomorrow for more details. Not sure what’s going on here.

They actually helped me sort out a claim with the holiday company to get some compensation and didn’t charge a penny! Really handy service if you ended up feeling unwell on an all-inclusive break because of what you ate or drank while there. I submitted my claim through these folks and the service was top notch, no complaints at all. I got compensated, and so did my kids (money went into a trust fund) all sorted within 12 weeks. Would totally suggest this to mates and family!

This bloke rang me asking about holidays I've taken in the past 2 years, saying I could claim up to £2,000 for each trip if the hotel was among 10,000 he mentioned that failed hygiene checks. He asked if it was alright for a mate of his to call me later to sort out the claim. I said I had a great holiday and wasn’t interested in claiming anything. He just said alright and hung up. Sounds like a proper scam to me. Be careful what you share with them, and watch out - they might use your info for other dodgy scams.

happened to me too, they said i had £1500 waiting for me as some sort of refund from a big travel company because i got sick on holiday. i told them i wasnt even ill but they said it didnt matter and id still get paid. total scam, obviously. the bloke on the phone had a proper thick scouse accent, definitely not the usual kinda voice for a call centre.

they actually knew my name and asked if i'd been on an all inclusive holiday in the past couple of years, saying it was about some health investigation. i told them i had been away. when they asked where exactly, i refused to say. after that, the caller just went quiet but stayed on the line for around 20 seconds before hanging up. i guess they're fishing for people to make claims about getting ill on all inclusive trips. either way, it was totally unsolicited.
