I kept getting calls from this number I didn’t know, so I just ignored it. They kept ringing off and on, and once they left a voicemail - but there was no one talking, just some noise in the background. Definitely sounded like one of those ambulance chasing firms. I've blocked the number now.

Rang me multiple times, and I reckon they're just after a quick buck - typical ambulance chasers, if you ask me. They didn’t bother leaving a message either! Caller: let's just say, not exactly helpful folks.

I chose not to pick up since I had a feeling it might be one of those ambulance chaser calls. They never bothered to leave a voicemail either. If I had picked up, I reckon it would've been the same sort of nonsense people have already shared here.

About a week ago, my car was hit by someone, and since then I've been getting loads of calls from a number saying they're from some dept at my insurer but they won’t actually tell me which company it is. When I tried to find out which company they represent, all they did was keep repeating the dept name and after trying a few times to get a clear answer, they just cut me off. Honestly, no clue how they got ahold of my info to begin with.

So this bloke calls me up, saying a third party filled out some form about an accident, claiming the third party had neck injuries. Bit of a laugh really, because the “third party” was actually just an object! I pointed that out to him, then ended the call. He rings right back and goes “no need for the sarcasm, miss.” Honestly, the cheek of it - rings me with a load of rubbish then tells me off for being sarcastic. If you’re reading this, your number’s blocked.
