For the past few days I kept getting missed calls from the same number but today they rang me two times so I finally answered. The person on the other end seemed to know who I was and asked if I’d been on an all inclusive holiday anytime in the last three years. I said no, then they asked if any family member of mine had been, and again I said no. I was polite throughout since I rarely get calls like this lol. She then apologised, wished me a good day and thanked me before hanging up.

I've been receiving calls from this number and a handful of others that appear to be from Manchester for the past couple of weeks. Due to my night shifts, I've managed to pick up the phone only a couple of times, as I'm typically catching up on my sleep when they ring. On those rare occasions when I've actually answered, it’s been silent on the other end, and they just hang up. It’s led me to suspect it might be one of those dodgy scams where they’re banking on you returning the call and racking up a ridiculous bill of about £10 a minute or some absurd amount like that.
