I’ve blocked about seven different 0161 814 numbers now, but they keep ringing from new ones. Is there any way to block the whole code at once? Someone called saying there was a letter in the post for me, and I told them I’d send it straight to my lawyer if it showed up. Of course, the letter never turned up - not really surprised!

Got a call on my mobile, tried to pick up but they hung up straight away. Rang back and they said my name then cut off again. I called about 3 or 4 times, every time the call went through, but they ended it. I’ve just blocked the number on all my devices now. Don’t bother dealing with them, just block if you can. I noticed a missed call from this number and decided to ring back. The bloke said he was from "The Professional Reclaim Service," and when I double checked the name, he confirmed it. The call was all about PPI.

What puzzles me is where on earth they sourced my number - I strictly share it only with family and close friends! It really ought to be off any lists, so how on earth did they get hold of it?

PPI managed to accurately pinpoint my name and address. They requested my date of birth in order to process claims on my behalf. However, I chose not to share that information!
