What a con! Received a call from some lass named Danielle claiming to be from O2. When I inquired how she obtained my number, she mentioned it was through the complimentary Wi-Fi (sounded plausible at first). Then she went on to say she could access my contract details and could offer me a more favourable deal. I asked her to specify what was on my contract, and she rambled on with utter nonsense. I had to inform her that I’m not even with O2! Haha, she hung up in a flash!

I’d suggest that you keep your phone switched on, but just set it down on a flat surface. This way, the person ringing won’t be able to hang up, which also prevents them from reaching out to anyone else. With a bit of luck, you might be able to leave it there for more than an hour. That should take you past any free call limits, and then they’ll start racking up charges. Quite clever, isn’t it? ;>)

Lol, these callers are a joke. It doesn’t even sound like a proper person, more like some recorded script, and I doubt they're actually in the UK. Idiots! I left the call on speaker for a good 5 mins to drag it out and annoy them. They said they were from O2, but really just trying to get you to say yes so they can sell your info to other firms. I've blocked the number now. Makes me wonder where they got my details from, maybe O2 themselves since I only just signed up.

Had a ring from this number earlier today. A young lady named Danielle identified herself as being from O2, claiming she could provide me with a more favourable deal. I informed her that I was quite content, having recently secured a good offer a couple of months back. However, she persisted, mentioning that if there was another person in my household using O2, she could get me a better price. She then queried my current network and my age group-whether I fell into 18-30, 30-50, or 51-70. I finally said, "That’s enough!" when she tried to press me for more details and asked her to ring me back, which I kindly declined. Here’s hoping I don’t hear from that number again, though I’m not exactly counting on it!

Please take heed and avoid responding to this. I've received numerous calls from this number over the course of weeks and finally picked up today. Supposedly, they represent a division of O2, claiming to provide discounts on various aspects of your lifestyle, including mobile services, utilities, and internet packages. When I inquired about how they obtained my personal information and what their plans were for it, the conversation turned robotic. I've been receiving calls from this number multiple times each day, and when I eventually picked up, the caller claimed to represent O2, offering me some enticing deals. I was initially swayed, but upon doing some research here, I began to doubt the legitimacy of the call. It turned out they had gathered all my bank card information, which sent alarm bells ringing. I've since reported the incident and got a replacement card to prevent them from siphoning any funds. Fingers crossed that does the trick!

Someone named Kelly from O2 kept ringing me, not even paying attention to what I was saying, then went ahead and called me the very next day. While I was trying to explain she kept interrupting with "uh uh great, so shall I arrange for a specialist to ring you back?" Kinda felt like a typical O2 thing. Do they all have the name Kelly or is it the same person just pestering me loads?

From what I’ve gathered, this number seems to be part of a scam operation. I’d recommend blocking it and adding it to your blacklist for every call you receive. If you do that, it should become difficult for them to reach you again.
