0161 814 9808 rang me, and from what I remembered, it was just another annoying call. I picked up and just let the TV noise play instead of talking. Took them ages, like 30 seconds, before they twigged. Definitely doing that again, might as well waste their time and money!

No answer on this one. Sending it over to TPF along with all the other annoying 0161 numbers. Unfortunately, TPF doesn’t seem to be doing much to block these calls.

Got a call from someone called Sarah saying she was from Insurance Advice Group, working for the National Accident Database. She said it was about stopping unwanted calls from insurance firms linked to an accident. She kept asking for details about an accident I wasn’t involved in. I quickly lost interest and ended the call.

They rang me and left a voicemail, but it was just dead silence when I didn’t pick up.

Accident Help team - they pretended they wanted to assist me taking my details off the accident database, then pushed me to speak with a senior guy. While chatting, I looked them up here - total scam. They claimed they could stop all future calls, but after digging more, another personal injury solicitor was also flagged to TPF.

This number rang me again today. Like I mentioned back on 8.2.18, Insurance firms use the CUE database to check if your accident history is really as clean as you say. Sadly, claims companies and similar folks can check CUE too, which explains why you keep getting calls after an insurance claim you thought was long finished. Just keep putting these numbers on your phone’s 'blocked calls' list (if your phone has that option) and eventually they’ll stop bothering you.

Accident assistance line. My car did get hit but I wasn’t inside it when it happened. I gave them all the right info but said I wasn’t in the car then. They just ended the call after that. Now I keep getting around 5 calls daily, even on my mobile. Really irritating, to be honest.

Really pushy lot. I told em I wasn’t interested in making a claim for a not-my-fault accident. They insisted I had to explain why. I said I don’t owe them any explanation and their calls feel like harassment. She claimed it’s not harassment unless I called them 3 times a day. I told her I’m on the TPS and she said it won’t help, it’s pointless. They keep switching their phone numbers so it looks like they’re not phoning loads. Best to steer clear of these people at all costs.

They tried to get me to share info about the accident but got everything mixed up. Said if I gave them all the info, they’d stop calling. Told me the details they had from NAD were wrong and couldn’t verify anything. Asked to hold, so I quickly looked up the company. They hung up right when I put it on hold. Seems pretty sketchy to me. They worked out I ignore calls from private numbers, so they keep swapping the numbers as soon as I block one.

Such a hassle! These calls are proper annoying scam calls. They never listen when you say no - always rude and arguing. Blocking the number doesn’t help either coz they just ring from a different one.

Complete scam! They ring me a couple times every month, saying an accident I had wasn’t my fault and that I should get compensation. They say all I need to do is say “the accident wasn’t my fault and I got hurt” at the end. I just hang up and block, but somehow they keep calling from different numbers. Don’t fall for their tricks!

The caller claimed they were from the 'National Accident Database' and wanted to check if the accident I was involved in last year had been properly resolved. Supposedly, this would allow them to wipe my details from their records and halt the barrage of unwanted calls they've noted I've been getting. Curiously, this same number has been responsible for a handful of silent calls as well. I'm now blocking it. But really, is there such a thing as a National Accident Database? Am I falling prey to yet another scam?
