Since I don’t know anyone in Manchester, as soon as I got called from a number starting with 0161 814, I blocked it right away. But they keep calling from loads of other numbers with the same area code, like I’ve lost count - about 10 different ones by now. Every time I block one, another pops up. It’s getting really annoying now because they’ve started calling my mobile, which I barely use and only share with close family and friends for emergencies.

On 30th May 2017, I received yet another call from this number - the fourth one today alone! As I've got no acquaintances in Manchester, I chose to let it ring off. It might even be one of those dodgy lines where the moment you pick up, it drops to a ringtone and subsequently connects you to some expensive rate which nobody wants to think about - possibly a fiver a minute? Absolutely not! I've been inundated by this number over the last fortnight, with them ringing me a staggering six times each day. It's becoming increasingly frustrating! Is there truly no way to put a stop to this? Those responsible ought to be dealt with severely and locked away for an eternity, then we can all forget they ever existed.

I received a call from this number today, 30th May 2017, at precisely 16:55. I chose not to pick up, as I didn’t recognise the caller ID, which turned out to be from Manchester. To be honest, I don't have a soul in Manchester! They keep ringing me incessantly, and I’m really starting to lose my patience with this and other similar numbers from the same area. It’s utterly tiresome! Honestly, these callers are a right pain, and they ought to face some serious consequences for this harassment.

I keep getting about 3 or 4 calls every day from some PPI claim centre. They ring me from 01618146240 too, but I've blocked both numbers now.

Once more, I’ve been besieged by calls from this number! I’ve blocked them multiple times, but they simply ring me from a different digit. It’s infuriating! On this occasion, I requested the caller’s number so I could return the favour and pester them with calls about topics they’d rather avoid. They promptly disconnected!
