Since I don’t know anyone in Manchester, as soon as I got called from a number starting with 0161 814, I blocked it right away. But they keep calling from loads of other numbers with the same area code, like I’ve lost count - about 10 different ones by now. Every time I block one, another pops up. It’s getting really annoying now because they’ve started calling my mobile, which I barely use and only share with close family and friends for emergencies.

On 30th May 2017, I received yet another call from this number - the fourth one today alone! As I've got no acquaintances in Manchester, I chose to let it ring off. It might even be one of those dodgy lines where the moment you pick up, it drops to a ringtone and subsequently connects you to some expensive rate which nobody wants to think about - possibly a fiver a minute? Absolutely not! I've been inundated by this number over the last fortnight, with them ringing me a staggering six times each day. It's becoming increasingly frustrating! Is there truly no way to put a stop to this? Those responsible ought to be dealt with severely and locked away for an eternity, then we can all forget they ever existed.

I got a call from this number yet again today, at about 6.16pm on 30th May 2017. Honestly, it's getting pretty annoying now. They've rung me four times just today alone! I never pick up because I don't know anyone from Manchester, so why keep calling? Is there any way to stop these calls?

Got a call today, 30th May 2017 around 4.55 pm, but I ignored it since the number was from Manchester and didn’t ring any bells. I’ve no contacts up there. The calls just keep coming nonstop, all from different Manchester numbers. It’s really annoying now. Honestly, these sorts of calls are harassment and those behind them deserve serious punishment.

I keep getting about 3 or 4 calls every day from some PPI claim centre. They ring me from 01618146240 too, but I've blocked both numbers now.

This number has called me again and again, I keep putting them on my block list but they always come back with a slightly different number - really gets on my nerves. Today I tried something different and asked the person calling for their own phone number, said I’d ring them loads of times a day to chat about stuff they clearly didn’t want to hear about, and then they just hung up on me! Hilarious but annoying all the same.
