I received a missed call and decided to ring them back. A rather posh voice introduced themselves and then asked me to hang on for one of their agents. They also mentioned I could send an email to put an end to the calls. Shortly after, I got another recorded message that sounded as if the person was slightly giddy, accompanied by some classical music. I hung up rather quickly!

Got a call from 01618145996 this morning, 9th August 2007 around 11:08am. I chose to ignore it and just let it ring. Honestly, it's really annoying. I've put the number on our scam call list now, so if they try ringing again, it will pop up and I can just decline straight away.

Got a call around 4pm today. At first, there was just really loud music playing, then a bloke with a strong Northern accent kept saying “hello” over and over. After that, he asked if it was me and mentioned some sort of financial firm. I didn’t hang about and just blocked the number straight away.

this no keeps ringin me pretty much every day, but i dont pick up coz i dunno nyone from manchester tryin to contact me. even after blocking it, calls still come thru which is so frustratin. if they cant be arsed to leave a message then they aint gettin a return call from me.

Just had a chat with West Midlands police, since they handle my area, and they told me this number is used by prank callers. They recommended I block it straight away.

got a call from this number, picked up and said hello, then a guy shouted "i'm going to smash your head in, mate" before hanging up straight away. gonna inform the Greater Manchester police, even if they might be busy with other stuff atm.

Everytime I ask who they are, they just end the call straight away.

I got a call on my mobile and when I picked up, they asked for me. I said I was here, then they just said 'okay' and hung up straight away. I tried calling them back but all I got was some hold music, then suddenly a message saying 'goodbye'. Turns out they use a few different numbers as well.
