I’ve been getting calls from these lot since April and it’s now October. Whenever I pick up, they keep asking for someone who isn’t me, someone with a different name. The calls all come to my number, but it sounds like a call centre because you can hear a lot of noise in the background. They’re often hard to make out too. This isn’t the only number they ring from - I’ve noticed at least three different ones, but all with the same area code.

I have been receiving calls about a PPI claim on a frequent basis, almost every day without fail. When I expressed my disinterest to the representative, she rather bluntly informed me that she would persist in calling me daily until I relent. After that, she abruptly ended the call.

Probably an auto dialler. It rings about three times and then cuts off without saying anything. No messages left either.
