About 15 minutes ago, I got a call from this number. The guy on the line said his name was Lloyd, but I told him I didn’t buy it and that he was ringing from something called Accent Finance or whatever?! When I rang back the number, it turned out to be a totally different company. I warned them I’d report them to trading standards if they called me again and told them to take my number off their list. I called him a scammer, wished him a nice day, then hung up and blocked the number after calling back.

I got a call from a woman with an asian accent claiming to be from Sch### Finance. She said she was carrying out a free probe into 11 big banks about selling dodgy products. When she asked which bank I use, I told her it was none of her business. I told her I wasn’t interested and was hanging up, but she just kept going with her spiel. Even as I was trying to end the call, I could still hear her rattling on.
