I've had this number ring me several times, and I'm keen to find out whether it's a scammer or genuinely trying to reach me.

Claimed to be from Assist Financial, but the person was extraordinarily abrupt when I mentioned notifying the Telephone Preference Service. The individual identified themselves as Molly. I attempted to return the call, but it was utterly futile to reach anyone!

I picked up the phone only to be met with the hum of a bustling office in the background before they abruptly disconnected. Curious, I tried calling back, and the voicemail informed me it was ‘Aspire Resources Group’. It then apologised, saying they couldn’t take my call right now, and added that if I wished to opt out of future calls, I should press 1. How polite!
