8 yearsIt's constantly ringing, and I really wish they'd just go away!9 yearsI've been plagued by these pesky callers pestering my mobile twice daily for over a week now. Whenever I pick up, it’s as if I've been cut off - complete silence on the line! When I attempt to return the call, I'm met with a recorded message instructing me to drop them an email. I was under the impression that this kind of annoyance was against the law. They want you to write to [email protected], providing your full name, postcode, and the number that rang you. Quite the cheek, if you ask me!9 yearsI received a call from 0161 814 5296 earlier today and to say I was taken aback would be an understatement-I was waiting for a different call entirely. The chap on the other end introduced himself as Adam from Payment Protection Co. I couldn’t help but ask what it was regarding, as I’ve never been in touch with them. He promptly mentioned something about my PPI. I informed him that all my PPI matters had been dealt with and expressed my disinterest. I also inquired how they came by my number, requesting them to take it off their contact list. There was an awkward silence after that, and then the line went dead. Strangely enough, he already knew my name! This really gets my goat, especially since I always ensure firms are aware I prefer not to have my details shared. âšī¸ From now on, I think I’ll just ignore any calls unless someone legitimate has the courtesy to leave a message.AdamPayment Protection Co9 yearsThat number is associated with The PPI Team!
