I decided to give that number a bell to uncover who was on the other end. Turns out, they claim to be brokers for life insurance, fetching quotes from a variety of life insurance providers. Yet, I'm a tad sceptical about whether this is on the up-and-up. There were a few red flags, such as the quality of the line being rather poor and struggling to catch some of their words. Whenever I probed them about their details, they just kept redirecting to their purpose for calling. I also noticed they transferred me to someone else during the chat who rather boisterously recited a reference number. In the end, I requested they drop me an email instead of hitting me with another call.

I've been receiving calls from this number on a daily basis, at all sorts of times. It's completely unfamiliar to me, so I’ve chosen not to pick up, but honestly, it’s quite irritating!
