I had the misfortune of dealing with a call centre earlier. The chap on the other end was incredibly impolite. When I refused to divulge my name before he identified himself, he raised his voice and insisted that he was called Henry... as if that made it any more convincing! He claimed it was a personal matter for someone named Miss S, but that was enough for me - I ended the call right there.

He kept saying my first name over and over, sounding all sniffly as if he had a cold. I eventually decided to just end the call.
