I checked the number on who called me to see if it was some spam, and yup, it was just like that. So I went ahead, blocked it and reported it. Nothing out of the ordinary, just the same old story.

I keep getting calls from this company and frankly, I have no clue who they are or where they found my number. It's really annoying and feels like harassment.

Upon picking up the call, I was greeted by a pre-recorded voice stating, "This call is from 'ACE'. Regrettably, all our representatives are currently occupied. We will reach out to you again shortly." Naturally, I've taken the step to block this number right away.

Luckily, I wasn’t hurt at all, but they kept telling me I could be owed anything from £1500 to £3000 just for being involved. I have no idea how they found my info, but I had recently used a car insurance comparison website where I mentioned the accident. Could be that these sites are being watched or something?

Warning - if you've found yourself in a car crash... there seem to be some dodgy folks out there fishing for clients, even sending unsolicited calls your way, regardless of whether you’ve had an accident at all.
