Absolutely infuriating! This number just won't stop ringing my phone. I’ve finally decided to block it for good.

I received a call earlier today from someone claiming that I was entitled to a refund for PPI, and seemingly if I had made a claim in the past year, I could actually pursue another one. He threw in that his 'granddad had claimed and got a whopping £8000'. Oddly, he addressed me by my first and last name, but then he proceeded to ask for my middle name. When I quizzed him on how he acquired my details, he claimed that if I had claimed before, he could fetch my info. I pointed out that, under those circumstances, he'd surely already know my middle name, but he insisted he couldn’t locate it and required it to send the necessary paperwork. I was having none of it and told him how dodgy it all felt. He then started rambling about the Ministry of Justice or something of the sort, but the moment I refused to divulge any of my personal information, he abruptly ended the call!
