I've received a barrage of eight calls from this number! Every time I answered, I was met with silence, and when I tried returning the call, they just wouldn’t pick up. It's baffling, really. Plus, I’ve noticed a trend with other numbers starting with 0161 814, each time differing only in the last four digits (like 5727 and 3912). Honestly, I've given up trying to identify who's behind this racket and have decided to just block them. It's such a nuisance, and I reckon these companies should be penalised!

Tried ringing my sister’s phone earlier and honestly have no clue where they got the number from. When I asked, they claimed it was “opted in” info, which is total rubbish - none of us have ever agreed to share her number, always made sure to untick that box. I questioned them about the date of this so-called accident, they said August 1st last year, which is just another fib because I had her car on that day, so there’s no way she could’ve been in any accident. Just another bunch of scammers trying it on!

Got a call from a really polite guy asking if my Dad was there - which was quite shocking as he passed away about 4 months ago. I told him he wasn’t around, but before I could explain, he just said he’d call back later and then ended the call abruptly! The weird bit is, he knew my number and my Dad’s name, so he must have gotten them from someone I dealt with as executor for Dad’s estate. Honestly, it felt really off and pretty upsetting.

Got a call from a polite bloke with an English accent asking if I’d got a letter about some unpaid money from a car crash. I told him it’s all sorted, fully covered by insurance and advised him to check with them. Cheers, then I hung up.

Got a call from FA (or maybe SA) Solutions today. The guy asked me if it was about a car crash I supposedly had. When I said no and told him to buzz off, he just kept going. I hung up and blocked the number straight away. This is getting really annoying - in the past week I’ve had calls from at least four different numbers. I’m on the TPS register, but honestly, that thing doesn’t seem to do a thing. Feels like outright harassment at this point.

Just got a call from FA Solutions about some marketing enquiry. They wouldn't say what it was about or where they got my info from. I'm guessing my contact info and name got passed around by people linked to insurance claims. If you've had any dealings with insurers in the last couple of years, be careful and maybe report it to your insurance company.

These accident claim scammers never give up. I’ve made it clear I’m not interested, told them to leave me alone, and even mentioned my number’s on the TPS, but they keep ringing anyway. Every time I say no, they get all rude and aggressive, which honestly just makes me not want to engage at all. I’ve set their number to auto-block now, yet they still manage to call me 2 or 3 times daily, as you can see from my call log. It’s borderline harassment at this stage, and it feels like nothing’ll actually stop them.

The matter has already been settled with the insurance companies, and it all struck me as rather odd. Upon expressing my suspicions, he promptly hung up. Exercise caution when dealing with them and steer clear of divulging any personal details, particularly your bank information.
