Even though it was a cold call about PPI, the chap was exceptionally courteous and explained how I ended up on their list-apparently, those comparison websites peddle our information. He suggested visiting the TPS site where I could easily register for their free service to opt-out of such databases and halt all those nuisance calls. I followed his advice, and honestly, it took me hardly any time at all-maybe five minutes tops, and I'm not the fastest typist! He even confirmed that I was taken off their calling list. Such a pleasant young man!
