Got a call about some accident compensation - bit rich really coz the last time this happened, I wasn’t even in the car. Obviously, my car got damaged but me? Not a scratch. Told them where to shove their offer and blocked the lot.

Got loads of missed calls like the ones below, so I picked up in the end. The person claimed to be from some firm called Financial Justice and wanted my current address. Felt like one of those dodgy PPI scams. He kept cutting me off when I asked questions and eventually just gave up and ended the call.

Intelligent Claims Solutions - I asked them where they obtained my details from, and they claimed it was the National Accident Database. Having worked in claims management myself, I knew this sounded dodgy, so I pressed them more. Then they said it was actually their own 'National' database. When I requested their regulator's contact info, they just hung up on me. Definitely plan to look into this further :)

Trying to trick me into thinking I’d been in an accident, total rubbish. Played along for a while, telling them I got hit by a bloke wearing a blue cap with a tiny bell on it. Said the car was red and yellow, and the witness goes by Mr Jolly. Took some time but they finally gave up and ended the call.

I’m not convinced it’s a proper scam. They’re more like trying to get folks to say they’re feeling a bit of pain from an accident, even if it’s not true, just so they can make a claim for money. These lot have been phoning me the past few days about a crash I was in. Wasn't my fault, the other driver said it was their fault. My car’s already fixed. They reckon they can sort me out some compensation, which sounds good, but I wouldn't give them my National Insurance number 'cause I don't see why they need that. Same with my date of birth - what's that got to do with the accident? They’re calling me again later and honestly, I’m a bit worried. I wouldn’t mind grabbing the compensation and letting them have their cut, but it all feels a bit sketchy to me.
