Today I got another ring from some outfit calling themselves The Pension Service. Over the past three years, they’ve bothered me about eight times now. They claim they’ll send someone over to get you to sign papers, but it’s pretty clear they’re trying to swindle your pension. Each time they call, I’ve asked them firmly to take my number off their list and stop calling, but they either hang up abruptly or start getting rude. If you get a call from these lot, I’d recommend steering clear and not engaging with them at all!

I keep getting nonstop calls about a crash I supposedly had, which thankfully I didn’t. It’s really frustrating and honestly, if I did have a claim, there’s no way I’d trust a company that just cold calls like this. Pretty much the same as what others are saying. I got a call from this number asking about a car crash supposedly involving me in the past few years. I told them ive never had a car, and then they tried to say it might be someone else living where I do. When I asked for the address to check, they said they couldn't share that because it was sensitive info, even though it was supposed to be linked to me. Basically they had no clue. I just ended the call. The number starts with a Manchester code - 0161 814 8563 - looks like a scam or just a rubbish cold call. Best to block it and not answer.

Got a call from a Manchester number, 0161 814 8563, with no name given. The person was asking about a car crash supposedly involving me in the last few years. I told them I've never owned a car, and then they backpedalled saying it might be someone else at my address. When I asked which address, they said they can't share sensitive info, even though it was supposedly mine. So basically, they didn’t really know. I ended the call there. Feels like a scam or just a pointless cold call. I’d advise blocking and ignoring this number.

Oh, I was honestly so fed up with calls from 0161 814 8406 but once I went ahead and blocked it on my phone, the constant ringing finally stopped. Problem solved.

A woman with a Scouse accent named Louise keeps ringing me. At first, she’s quiet, then suddenly she’s asking for my full name loads of times. When I question what the call is about, she just says she’s from some place called AMS. Really puzzled by this. - caller: AMS

I got a call from this number and the bloke on the other end said his name was Christopher. He kept chatting away but I told him I didn't know any Christopher. When I asked him where he was calling from, he suddenly seemed all quiet and then just ended the call. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from this number about 6:10 in the evening. The call was only about 47 seconds long because I ended it first. The bloke on the other end had a Scouse accent and was quite rude. When I picked up, I said “hello” around 4 or 5 times before he even responded. When he finally replied, he just kept saying “hello” back to me. I asked who he was since he was the one who called me, but instead of giving his name, he asked me who I was and why I had rung him. I tried to explain politely that it was actually him who called me, not the other way around. He’d just come inside from outside as the phone was ringing in my drawer. Then he got quite angry and kept insisting that I was wrong and claimed the phone was a work phone. I hope someone eventually works out who's making all these calls from this number to different people! Caller ID: Unknown, since he wouldn’t share his name.

Got a call from some company called A&M or maybe AMS. The guy said I’d contacted them about a car accident from the past three years. I burst out laughing, and then he asked if he’d just told me a joke. When I pressed him why he was cold calling me, he suddenly got all clever and said he wouldn’t know my name if it was a cold call. I told him he was basically harrassing me, but he insisted he’d never called before so it couldn’t be. I threatened to keep him on the line all night to rake up their phone bill and he instantly put the phone down. The bloke sounded like he had a Scouse accent.
