I picked up the call, but they simply disconnected straight away.

I received a rather annoying phone call from these people regarding PPI claims. When I mentioned that I was enrolled in the Telephone Preference Service, the woman on the other end became quite snippy, asserting that I would have to fork out £15 a month to remove my number from their database. Her attitude was thoroughly disagreeable, and to top it off, she abruptly disconnected the call after I requested that they erase my number from their records. What a cheek!
