Is this Harringtons Advisory Ltd? I've been receiving calls from the number 0199 228 2068, which has a Lea Valley area code. Strangely enough, the last four digits match up. There’s been a barrage of calls from this outfit. They seem to specialise in PPI claims, but they also dabble in pensions, accidents, mortgages, debts, and a host of other claims. I've heard they're currently under scrutiny by the Claims Management Regulator, though that appears to pertain solely to their PPI activities. I received a rather intrusive call from a firm inquiring whether I had a mortgage on my property. Naturally, I responded with a no. Then, the caller inquired if I’d been mortgage-free for a considerable period, to which I questioned the relevance of their inquiries. He proceeded to inform me that they were presenting some appealing mortgage rates, and I reiterated my point: it wasn’t pertinent since I had no mortgage whatsoever. At that juncture, he rudely remarked that I had a 'poor attitude' and promptly terminated the call! After that rather distressing interaction, I attempted to ring the number back to express my dissatisfaction, but all I encountered was a pre-recorded message that didn’t allow for any further comments! Quite frustrating, to say the least!
