Honestly, don’t believe any of what they tell you. They say you’ll get loads of cash back from PPI but it’s all a load of rubbish. Just hang up straight away. It’s total nonsense. Before you know it, they’ll be asking for your bank info. Stay well clear!

So I just got a call from someone saying my bank owes me cash, bit odd if you ask me.

I picked up and there was nobody on the line, then suddenly they just hung up.

I got a call around midday from this number, claiming I was owed between £1000 and £5000 in PPI compensation from TSB. The caller said TSB had been misleading folks about any entitlements. When I asked how they got my number, the woman suddenly got rude and snapped that I was wasting her time - not how you'd expect someone professional to behave. I just hung up there and then. I then tried ringing them back about 3 times, each time ending up on hold with that annoying message: "all our operators are busy... please hold and we’ll connect you shortly."
