I usually just ignore calls from numbers I don’t know. Even if it’s someone important, they'll leave a voicemail or find another way to reach you. It’s best to just block those numbers and not bother calling back, as it might be a scam trying to get you to pay for calling them. Lately, I’ve noticed scammers using 0800 numbers on landlines which are supposed to be unlisted, which is a real pain. Luckily there are these sites and my phone provider has some options to block unwanted calls on both my home phone and mobile. Definitely just block and move on.

They’ve been calling me daily, starting early in the morning around 8 till evening, no breaks. The number comes up as “Manchester”, but they never bother to leave any voicemail. Really annoying!
