Received a call from someone claiming to be from a college, insisting that they were owed £2500! My colleague presumed it was related to a tax refund. When they queried how this person had obtained their number, they abruptly ended the conversation. I decided to ring the number back later from my office phone, but all I got was some terribly dull hold music for about half a minute before the call disconnected! I now dread seeing the upcoming work phone bill, thinking it might be surprisingly hefty!
