He insisted that either I or someone residing with me had been in a minor accident-thankfully without any injuries-and went on about how I could seek compensation for damages. Initially, I humoured him for a bit, but then my patience wore thin. I ended up telling him that people like him were exactly the reason insurance premiums keep rising, and I didn’t hold back on my choice of words. He was not pleased and declared that he would continue to ring me in order to discuss my outburst. Sure enough, he called again, but I didn’t feel the need to offer an apology. When I inquired about her identity, she completely disregarded my question and continued insisting on speaking with my wife. She claimed to be from a legal firm and repeated her request for my wife. I informed her that my wife wasn't available and pointed out that she had dialled the wrong number. Instead of acknowledging this, she abruptly hung up on me. I detected a hint of a Sheffield accent...
