This bloke said he was with EE and even somehow knew my name, which was a bit creepy. He went on about a virus on my computer and said I had to download some software to sort it out. I kept him talking for about 18 minutes, acting like I was doing what he said. When I finally told him I wasn’t buying it and that it was a load of rubbish, he flipped out and started shouting nasty stuff about being from Pak*stan and threatening all sorts of horrible things to me and my missus! Proper dodgy and shocking behaviour.

I got a call claiming to be from VirginMedia saying there was an issue with my internet speed because supposedly some rubbish got downloaded. They asked me to log in and follow some steps. I wasn’t convinced they were actually VirginMedia, so when I kept asking for proof, they just ended the call.

This number called me claiming to be from SKY's tech support and kept pushing me to let them access my computer. I'm pretty sure it was just a scam to steal my information.

Got a call from a place in India, said they were from BT and claimed their gear showed someone was pulling data off my BT router. As an ex IT consultant, I can tell you it’s utter nonsense just to try and scam me out of my personal information.

Every time I pick up this number, it’s just some robot voice that quickly says goodbye. It’s been calling repeatedly and honestly, it’s really annoying.
