Got a voicemail from some spam about credit control or whatever, really irritating. I didn’t even bother calling back, just blocked the number straight away!

They kept ringing me over and over again but never left a voicemail. When I finally picked up, they mentioned I’d had a car crash that wasn’t my fault and even knew the exact date, though their info felt a bit sketchy. They claimed I could get £1400 in compensation and said they’d post me a cheque if I provided more info. Honestly, it sounded dodgy, so I’m not bothering with them anymore.

Received a call regarding a car accident I was involved in, claiming I was owed compensation. Strangely, they had all my personal information. It raises a huge red flag-how on earth did they obtain my details if they insisted they weren't aware of my insurance provider?
