Got a call about four times today, some offer to give me compensation. I told them it’s obvious they already have my info, so they might as well just post me a cheque.

I got a call from some place called 'Motor Mend' saying I had some unclaimed compensation from a car crash I was in, but they needed to complete an incident report first. When I asked who had actually asked them to handle this for me, they couldn’t say. They also couldn’t tell me the amount they claimed was waiting. Then they put me through to a supervisor who similarly couldn’t answer my questions. When I mentioned my rights under GDPR about knowing where they got my info, the call just got cut off on me!

I’ve been bombarded with calls from this number, and it's proving to be quite the nuisance due to how often they ring. Just a minute after I declined their last call, they were back at it, persistently trying again and again. This isn't just a one-off; I’ve received several calls throughout the day and from the past few days as well. It’s incredibly frustrating, to say the least.
