I just ignored the call and then put the number straight on block.

On the 1st of June, my phone buzzed with a call from this number. Typically, I wouldn’t pick up calls from unfamiliar digits, but curiosity got the better of me. I've noticed that many numbers starting with those first seven digits often turn out to be dodgy scams, so I was prepared to tell them exactly what I thought. To my dismay, when I answered, it was nothing but silence on the other end! Since then, I've yet to hear from them again, but I'm sure they'll pop back up before long!

I’ve been adding more Manchester numbers to my block list, and today I received an unwanted call from +441582149487, which appears to be from Luton. It’s the same old debt scam they keep peddling!

Received a voicemail stating there’s a dispute recorded against me from a revenue service. They mentioned to press 1 for further details and instructions.

Gave my mobile a bell at precisely 16:42 on the 1st of June, 2021. After investigating the number, I discovered it’s linked to a scam artist claiming to be from a debt recovery firm regarding some imaginary credit card debt. Clearly nothing more than a load of rubbish!
