Got a call just before 8:30, the caller had a thick accent and sounded dodgy straight away. They hung up as soon as I said hello so I blocked the number. It’s mad how these scammers keep doing this and no one seems able to stop them preying on people who might not be as careful.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, sounded pretty regular. He told me my computer was sending out and picking up weak signals and needed sorting out.

Got a call over the bank holiday from someone claiming to be with BT’s tech team. Their thick accent made it tricky to follow what they were saying. They kept insisting they weren’t trying to scam me and sounded quite polite. After a bit, I just said bye and ended the call.
