Received a call this morning before 8:30, and the person had a really thick accent. The noise in the background made it pretty clear it was a scam, and they hung up without saying a word. I ended up blocking the number. It's infuriating how these con artists keep managing to target vulnerable individuals without facing any consequences time and again! What's going on with that?

I chose not to pick up the phone. In hindsight, it’s probably for the best as that makes it a couple of times today I’ve ignored calls. Quite the nuisance on a Bank Holiday Monday!

This number keeps ringing, but when I answer, there's nothing but silence on the other end. Quite odd, really!

Received a call from someone claiming to be from BT, typical accent you’d expect. He mentioned that my computer was apparently sending and receiving poor signals and required some sort of repair.

Received a call on the Bank Holiday from someone claiming to be with the BT Tech Team. His accent was quite thick, so I struggled to catch what he was saying. He insisted he wasn't a scammer and was rather courteous throughout. In the end, he bid farewell and ended the call.
