No one actually spoke, and didn’t leave any voicemail either. I just stayed on the line and heard what sounded like a call centre with loads of people, probably bombarding others with calls! This was exactly the same as getting calls from about 34 other numbers like 01612188968, 01613544624, and 01613668589, to name just a few from the list. It’s clearly just a big nuisance from a call centre making relentless calls!

Got calls from someone pretending to be from a PCP company, using my name and an address I lived at over a decade ago. The same bloke rang me from three different numbers - one from London, another from Manchester, and the last from Birmingham. Told him to piss off, but he kept ringing anyway, so had to block all the numbers. The weird part is, I’ve never had a car on finance, so no clue how they got hold of my details like that old address and my name!

So, this number called me and right away I felt it was a scam. I didn't say anything when I picked up. The caller never said who they were or where they were calling from. All they did was keep repeating “Hello” and then my name. They even asked me “How are you?” while using my name. I just ended the call.

This bloke called me up and kept calling me Miss followed by my first name, like he forgot my lastname or something. I ended the call pretty quickly and blocked him right away. He had a thick accent and sounded all jittery.
