Just got a call today the 19th, they left a recorded message too but the number was blocked since I checked with 1471 about five minutes ago.

Definitely a scam call, couldn’t be more obvious. Got a recorded message saying it’s from an internet provider, telling me to change my IP address. Then it wanted me to press 1 to speak to an engineer or technician. Nah, no way. The same recorded message has been coming from loads of different phone numbers too. Guess it’s because of the summer holidays or something.

For the past few days, this number has rung me up multiple times daily - at least four times a day! It’s one of those recorded ones warning about a hacked IP address and telling me to press 1 to speak to a 'tech expert'. Total scam, no doubt about it. When I got back today, my answering machine was stuffed with five identical messages. No way I'm pressing 1; either it'll swipe money from you or some classic fake computer security trick. Stay clear, honestly.
