I found it rather unsettling when this lady contacted me, as she seemed to have access to my complete name and even my email address. She requested that I verify some details and then mentioned she needed to send me an IT report. Claimed she was affiliated with a company called Register. Quite clearly just a spam attempt, if you ask me.

So, the woman who answered was pretty polite and actually knew my name and email without me saying anything. She said she works at Register and is now handling some report for Google, supposedly about IT stuff for people in that field. Honestly, sounds like some sort of recruitment scam fishing for info to spam me later. I kept my details to myself, but weird how she already had them.
