I recently reached out to Brother printer support and then received a call from this number, with someone saying they were tech support. The person sounded quite friendly and patient, guiding me through some steps and even showed me some driver files, which honestly confused me a bit. Later, he said the issue was with my computer, not the printer, and that a level 2 tech would be required for fix, charging £99.99. I told him I’d think about it and ended the call. I’ve also looked over my bank statements since then.

I got a call from this number unexpectedly offering help with setting up a new printer. It seemed to go okay, but now I’m worried I might’ve fallen for a scam or something.

I was just trying to sort out a problem with my printer linking to my laptop by using their website, but they started asking loads of questions I wasn’t ready to answer. So I just bailed from their page. Right after that, my phone rang from the same number! Luckily, I got a bit suspicious and looked up the number, then blocked it straight away. Big thanks for your site for the heads up!

I got a call from someone saying they were Canon printer support (number 01617914595). Weirdly, it was just as I was setting up my new Canon printer with my laptop, so I probably ended up giving them my phone by mistake. They rang me three times, each time asking for my number. Then, I got another call from 01174540437, but this time they said they were from HP support. I just hung up straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with HP printer support, offering to help me set up my printer. Total nonsense, obviously. I’ve already passed their number on to HP and reported it.

Somebody called me claiming to be from Canon about setting up a new printer and asked for a payment to proceed. When I said no, they got quite annoyed. I’m definitely going to let Canon’s Customer Service know about this, since they’d probably want to know and do something about it.

I was in the midst of configuring a brand new HP printer when I received a call from this number. The caller was rather persuasive, and I ended up allowing them to access my system under the pretext of fixing an alleged issue. They claimed it would cost £99 for a complete resolution, but I declined. Strangely enough, they then offered a temporary fix at no charge and mentioned they would ring me again, stating that they needed access to my computer for about twenty minutes. I didn’t engage further with them after that. Fingers crossed I haven’t fallen victim to a scam!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Canon, tryna push me McAfee security software. They kept going on about linking my printer to my laptop and how my computer was loaded with malware and viruses. Thing is, my laptop’s only a couple of days old, so I just told them to jog on.

Just like what others said here, I was trying to find help on the Epson website to sort out my wireless printer connection. Suddenly, a call came through from someone pretending to be Epson support. They were clearly trying to scam me. Never stay on the phone if you get a call like this!

I was just trying to sort out some issues with my printer and went onto what I believed was Canon’s official site. Out of nowhere, someone calls me saying they can fix it for me. They claimed to remove malware and ended up claiming to have fixed my laptop too. Turns out it was a massive rip-off. Lesson learned: don’t trust these random callers. Ended up paying way more than I expected.

Suddenly, this number rang me up within moments. They claimed they needed to look at my PC to figure out the problem. I refused and just hung up straight away.
