Got a recorded call claiming to be from Amazon asking me to press 1 or 2, probably one of those premium rate scams when you do.

They rang saying I was due some money. Asked for my info, but this wasn’t the first time I’d had a call from them.

Got a call from 07606803315 saying my computer was being hacked or something, said they were from the Know how team at PC World. I just ended the call straight away. When I rang back the number, it turned out to be a premium line charging £3.45 a minute. Total scam.

Got a call from 001326764217 earlier, sounded like an American voice saying it was from BT, so I just ended the call. Also got calls from 01147287474 and 01121690526 today, didn’t pick up on either.

got a call from this number about my life insurance with aviva, told the bloke I dont have any with aviva. He then asked who I was insured with but I refused to say, then he went on about what my life insurance covers me for??? I said "like if I die" and told him to stop calling me. He said his company hadn’t rung before but I know someone has. I keep blocking the numbers but they keep changing them every time.

Got a call from some bloke saying he was from Legal and General about my life insurance. When I asked who he actually worked for, he said Life QC. I then asked for some proof or details about his connection to L&G, and he just ended the call. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Sick of them ringing and staying silent, then I can't ring back cause the number doesn’t come up.

They said Legal and General gave them my info - I mentioned that under GDPR that’s not supposed to happen. They insisted it was fine since L and G shared the details. When I explained I never consented to my info being passed on, they told me to relax, then suggested I have a glass of wine and chill out. I asked to talk to their manager since I found it rude. Then, they just hung up on me.

Definitely put these people on your blocked list! It’s a classic scam, they might use your name to sound legit, saying they’re from Aviva. They try to convince you to have a look at your existing insurance, but really, they just want to push you into buying a new policy that supposedly gives better coverage for cheaper. Don’t fall for it!

got a call from a firm called "family cover" or something like that. they claimed they were linked with my insurance, but I was suspicious right away. when I asked them to remove me from their list they rudely told me to "hang up then you daft person". honest, just avoid them - feels like a total rip off.
