I received a rather peculiar voicemail today; it was a recorded voice claiming to be from HMRC. They remarkably just managed to leave half a message, insisting that if I didn’t press 1, a warrant would be issued in my name. Then, to add to the absurdity, I got the identical message again later that day, this time from the number 01709276983, which I’ve discovered is a known scam. Absolutely ridiculous!
