So today I got a call from some outfit calling themselves the Accident Claim Regulatory Society, asking how I was doing after an accident. Thing is, I haven’t had any accident recently. The number they rang was new to me - only been with us since 5th May (so about 12 days) and it’s not listed publicly. Also, the phone is under my partner’s name, but somehow they knew my first name! When I asked for their company details and a contact number, they gave it to me. Then I told them I’d be reporting their unsolicited call as I found it quite harassing - and they just hung up on me.
