I got a phone call from a lady, sounded Asian, named Selena, claiming she was with this World Wide Web server thing. As soon as I ended that call, some bloke, also with an Asian accent and called David, rang me up saying the exact same thing. All in all, I got three calls within like two minutes.

Got called three times all within a minute, and if I don't know the number, I won't pick up. Oddly, the first one showed up as 0055 44 161 7862 484, but the two after that just showed 0161 7862 484 - definitely not a Manchester number.

Total con job - this bloke "David" rang me three times, claiming there was something wrong with my PC. When I told him I'd report him to the coppers if he rang again, he got really rude all of a sudden. The annoying part is these numbers show up as if they're from the UK, not the usual dodgy foreign ones.

Got a call from what seemed like a scammer, probably from India, pretending to be someone else by faking their number. If they throw out your name or a relative’s, just say, “I don’t think anyone by that name lives here anymore. Maybe it’s someone who used to?” Usually, they get a bit lost, sometimes even say sorry, then quickly end the call. Could even make them rethink whatever info they have about you. Best thing? Block the number and don’t stress about it. Life’s too short for that nonsense.

At first, I didn’t pick up because the number looked unfamiliar. Then, right after, they called again but I still didn’t answer. They tried once more straight away, and when I finally picked up sounding a bit harsh, they just hung up on me.

Got a call earlier from a lady with an Asian accent claiming there’s some issues with my computer. I told her straight away that I knew it was a scam because I’d seen similar stuff on Facebook. Then I just hung up. Seriously, don’t hand over any info to these people.
