Had another call just now from what sounded like Asian scammers pretending to be Microsoft. Feels like our info’s just being passed around between dodgy call centres. Honestly, really hope someone sorts these wretched idiots out soon.

Got a call just like the ones mentioned here. The person on the line had an Indian accent and already knew my postcode. Claimed to be from quick support and warned me about a big problem with my computer/server. I kept them on the phone a bit longer, asking a lot of questions. When I finally asked “how do you know there’s an issue with my server?” they just hung up. Best to stay clear of these calls.

Got a call from a man with an Asian accent claiming my computer had serious issues and warning it would freeze soon if I didn’t let him sort it out. I kept him engaged by mentioning my son, who’s a whiz with computers and would handle any real problems. He insisted that only they could fix it and said he worked for some company named Quick Support. His tone was pretty pushy, and I can see how folks might get tricked by this sort of scam.

Heads up, this one's definitely a scam. Got a call from an asian bloke claiming to be from web support. He said there was a problem with my PC at an old address I left back in 2005. When I questioned him, he insisted the fault was at that old place. Told him I don't live there anymore. I played along and kept him on the line for about 7 minutes before telling him straight up it was a scam. He hung up right after. If you can, make sure to block this number.

I received a phone call from this number earlier, with someone claiming to represent the World Wide Web. He was a very courteous chap, sporting an Indian accent. When I informed him that most folks these days are quite aware that this is likely a scam, he insisted, "I can guarantee you, madam, this is not a scam." I decided to end the conversation there and hung up. I'm sure I'll be bombarded with calls from them now!

I received a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from a "Worldwide Server". They mentioned there were issues with my computer, although they didn't specify which brand it was. The phone rang twice, but I didn't pick up on the second ring. Odd, isn't it?

Got a call from some bloke telling me to check out this site: [#]quicksupportnow(###]. Honestly, I wouldn’t go near it, seemed pretty shady and the guy wasn’t very polite either. I kinda ended up wasting about 6-8 minutes on the call because my Wi-Fi was acting up and instead of searching their name, I just looked up their number online. At first, the number didn’t show up, but then they rang me back from this one.
