Got a call from an Asian guy saying there was some issue with the router and we needed to switch the computer on. My husband picked up and told him he doesn’t use a computer, but the bloke kept pushing for it. Eventually, my husband told him to ring back later, but the call never came. Pretty sure it was a scammer pretending to be from TalkTalk.

I received a rather suspicious phone call from 01617854021 claiming to be from TalkTalk. The person on the line insisted that my Broadband was being accessed by unauthorised users. They asked me to have my laptop ready as they were going to guide me through some sort of fix. It all felt off, so I decided to humour them and didn’t take any action at all. It seemed they caught on to my lack of cooperation, as they suddenly hung up. A classic scam, if ever there was one!

Got a call from 016617854021, said it was TalkTalk. It was the second time they rang. The bloke had a strong Asian accent and somehow knew my name, address, and account number already. He kept asking if I was by my computer and if it was switched on - the usual line. I got a bad feeling and told him I thought it was dodgy, but he kept saying it was legit. Then I said my phone wasn’t anywhere near my PC and I didn’t have anything to write with. After that, he just gave up and hung up.

Just got a call from this number not long ago, like others have said, they claimed to be from Talk Talk saying there was a problem with my internet router. I asked the lady for her full name and the line went dead straight away. I’ve flagged it up to Talk Talk and they promised to look into this and stop this number from bothering their customers. Got a ring from this number earlier today. The bloke claimed to be with TalkTalk, saying my internet was acting up and disconnecting. Curiously, he addressed me by my last name. Got a call today from a guy claiming to be with Talk Talk about my internet. I told him straight away I wasn’t interested and guessed it was a scam. Usually they just hang up right after that, but this time he actually argued with me. Checked 1471 and it showed the number he called from, which is unusual because normally there’s no number displayed to block. Got a call again from the same bloke with an Asian accent around 11:45, saying he's from Talk Talk. This is the third time these dodgy scammers have bothered me. We have their phone number, so why aren't the cops doing anything about it?

I got a call earlier today from some bloke with an Asian accent, saying it was about my Talk Talk internet. When I said it sounded like a scam, he started saying he loved me and bragged about some big d**k or somethin’. Told him off proper and ended the call. Then that same number rang back like five minutes later, so I just picked up, shouted "Leave Me Alone" and put the phone down. Haven’t heard from them since.

Someone rang me claiming to be from TalkTalk, asking a bunch of questions. I just said yes to everything, then told them they'd reached a premium rate number and I was charging £5 per minute. They kept trying to say I was tricking them, but I said go ahead, you’re being charged £5 a minute. After that, they got rude and I called them a nasty name, they hung up straight away. Honestly, TalkTalk should do something about this. They block one number and the scammers just switch to another. Surely the phone companies can step in and sort this out.

He told me there was some kind of error with my internet and somehow knew my full name and address. I played along a bit to see where he was going with it. When I said I’d ring TalkTalk directly to check the story, the line suddenly just cut off! Pretty sure that was a scam.
